He knows you will leave and wants to drain as much out of you for as cheap as possible before you inevitably leave. Be prepared for extremely long days and weekend work with zero overtime pay. Also don't think you'll get ahead of it by telling them you can't work overtime before taking the job. It will work at first. After a while if you don't start completing overtime he will find a reason to fire you. It does not matter the reason, young children, family in the hospital, does not matter.
