Be aware that the work environment at The Wellness Way may not be what you expect from a typical professional healthcare or wellness setting. In my experience, there was a strong presence of personal and political beliefs being expressed in workplace settings, including seminars that were not purely educational as described. The culture did not feel inclusive, and I personally experienced and observed behavior from leadership, including Patrick Flynn, that I perceived as dismissive and at times demeaning toward women. Concerns raised by employees were not handled in a constructive way, which contributed to an uncomfortable and, at times, unprofessional environment. I strongly recommend doing thorough research into the company’s messaging, public content, and overall viewpoints—including any political or ideological positions—before accepting a role, to ensure it aligns with your personal values and expectations for a workplace.
