Pros

Some of the nicest coworkers you will ever have, both in the office and the shop. Get to work with fantastic clients on some really cool projects. A great job to learn at. There's a lot of experienced people both in the shop and the office that you can learn a lot from.

Cons

Upper management DOES NOT value its employees! Offers almost no room for growth, offers no reward for going above and beyond (working weekends, travel for very long periods, often working 18-24 hours straight during installs). Upper management lacks strong leadership, the president is rarely around, and avoids conflict and trying to solve issues when he is. The Vice Presidents are another story, one should be running the company but is too busy running his own projects and the other is totally incompetent and spends as little time as possible in the office doing his job. This company has all the talent and drive to be a big player in the themed entertainment industry but unfortunately is being mismanaged and poorly ran by inadequate upper management. The clients notice this, and it's embarrassing as a project manager to try to answer for your boss when they mess something up.

Toxic Work Environment

Pros

Opportunity to learn a lot about the industry and work on cool projects Opportunity to work with some incredibly talented co-workers

Cons

Managers don't care about the people. It is all about the bottom line. Favortism and discrimination are rampant. The office is sometimes slow to get things done then the shop has to work overtime to make up for it. Upper Management only comes out to the shop when something is wrong. There is a lot of criticism and very little praise.

Do not work here

Pros

There are some great people. However, none of the good ones are in charge.

Cons

Discrimination is rampant, managers are belittling to those they think are beneath them or that disagree with them, those in charge do not care about people only what is in their best interest. Management style can best be described as bullying. This is absolutely the worst place I have worked in my career. Taking this job did irreparable harm to me both personally and professionally. If you do interview here make sure to ask a lot of questions about the company, culture, turnover, stability. Make sure you know what you are getting into.
