Where to start... There is absolutely no room for growth and career advancement in this company. Titles and accompanying salaries seem to only be handed out to a select few "favorites" in the company. If you have no college degree, or a degree that's not electrical engineering, you are looked down upon and generally paid much less. On to pay. Themis pays by the national average, NOT the silicon valley average... big difference in compensation. On top of that, Themis tends to pay on the lower end of the national salary median for position/title. You will be expected to wear multiple hats within Themis, at times way outside specified job field/description, yet you will receive no compensation or recognition for this work. All senior management is stuck in the mindset of a 90's tech company. Senior management holds the view that it worked in the past, it will work now. Management frowned upon modernizing technique, tool, and process. Most all of how things are done in Themis do not translate to any other major tech company. Often times employees are given sub-par equipment, being told that there is no room in the budget. It's sad when you have constant battles with IT, just to get equipment that meets minimum requirement specifications for the software you are trying to use. There is absolutely no flexibility to work from home. In fact, the CEO has a strict policy forbidding working from home (except for the favorite few). A good place to end a career, not start one.

Management is very verbally abusive and condesending to employees. Slave shop environment for manufacturing but no one else is held to same standards. No job growth or advancement available.
