Poor Management and communication issues
There were a couple of times when I showed up to work and they forgot to call me and/or schedule me with other clients. One time I heard a parent state something about Friday's schedule change. After the parent left I asked the SDA and they said don't worry about it. I come in on Friday, and I hear that it's time for my scheduled client's clean up. I ask the SDA and they tell me to go talk to another SDA. Then they realize they forgot to call or schedule me in, so while they figure out the schedule and I end up losing almost 3 hours of work time I was normally scheduled for and they did not compensate me the time I was there while they were figuring things out.
A lot of miscommunications, each staff member says something different. The company tells the BTs to not work after hours, but also tell us to do so. Telling us to email sessions updates and we will be reimbursed, but I never got reimbursed. It is really hard to write session updates, clean up, finish up locking up data, and central reach in the 10 minute clean up time. Also, it takes longer than 5 minutes to write the session updates, some staff members do not even email back to answer the questions I had in the email.
To be honest, I felt threaten at times with all these new requirements that put so much pressure on us.
