Pros

Colleagues are nice people. Office is ok. Not the worse place in the world to work if you have no other choice

Cons

Data set is very poor. Some contacts have been 10 years out of date. Makes it very hard to get leads and commission which is needed to compromise for poor pay. Management are fake nice to you and make uncomfortable comments too. Treated like children. they recently banned mobile phones completely and say they have the right to look through your LinkedIn if they suspect you are using it to chat across the office - is that legal??? They are constantly tracking your call rate and watching over you. Where is the trust between callers and management? No career development here so I wouldn’t work here unless you are in need of work quick and easily. Very unusual for a company to have such a high employee turnover. Over half the company have joined in the last 6 months. Being an employee at this company I can promise you that the good review on here is written by management. No one I know at that company would write that

Hello, Thank you for our feedback it's nice to hear you get on with the people who you work with. You’ve made some other comments that are worth addressing. I think you have may have been misinformed when it comes to salary as we keep an eye on the salaries offered by our competitors in the local area and we’ve found that the salary we offer our staff to be higher than the other companies We recently sent out a confidential anonymous survey to all staff to complete, as we do every quarter, and none of the responses we received shared this opinion around the management or monitoring of things like call rate. In terms of the points you’ve made regarding mobile phone use and Linkedin, these are correct, we take the protection of our customers data extremely seriously and to protect that it is entirely appropriate to say that any forms of social media / emails etc accessed using your work computer would need be checked when needed, this is both legal and the norm in the majority of companies and we make no apologies for this, you are free to use your phones on your breaks and access any social media using your own personal devices outside of working hours. We will never ask to see anything that is not accessed on a work computer. You referenced there being no career development, this is not entirely true in the last 6 months we have had 2 callers move into other positions within the company. We cannot move people into positions that don't exist we are keen to give people opportunities within the company when they become available, it's logical to promote someone who understands the company and has demonstrated the correct attitude and performance into other roles rather than recruit externally and we will continue to do so when other roles become available. In terms of employee turnover, our combined attrition for the last 6 months has been 18%, the average for the UK is 15% but the average for our industry is between 25-34% so actually as a company our retention of staff is well above the average for lead generation companies. Finally you referenced fake reviews and us deleting reviews, its worth noting that its impossible for us to delete reviews on Glassdoor as you can see in their terms and conditions and nor do we post fake reviews we have only recently been made aware of any reviews on Glassdoor and the only steps we have taken is to create this account to respond to people's comments. I would recommend that you speak to your Manager or perhaps use one of the feedback forms we have internally to share your opinions so we can work with you on how we can improve the business, we take all genuine feedback seriously so we would be keen to discuss your opinions in more detail and see how we can help you.
