Momentum.....things change fast so you have to keep up. No hand holding here, you have to speak up and participate or you could be left behind. An important point (a con if this doesn't fit your style) is you have to be experienced and mature enough to take initiative and not sit around and wait. Start ups do move fast, so you need initiative and must be dependable while undergoing changes within the company. More start ups fail than succeed, so you MUST be of the right mindset to keep up with changing environments. If you want a low stress, 9-5 job without worry of learning something new....don't look here.

It's a fast-past, highly agile environment; one can have a most-holy-priority problem to solve this week, only to have the work placed on the shelf for months in favor of a new problem, then popping the stack and resuming the project that was shelved. TWG is solving bleeding edge problems in a pressure cooker environment; for some of us it's a place to thrive, but if one is risk adverse, can't take initiative, or needs an org chart to orient themselves, TWG will likely make or break you.
