Pros

At this time the cons greatly outweigh the pros.

Cons

Last week at the all hands meeting, management mentioned the bad Glassdoor reviews and disparaged those who wrote the reviews. So much for listening to your people. They then asked us to go write some reviews (which I think is very unethical), so here is one. There are obviously some fake HR reviews on here -"Very helpful HR team." Can't believe they thought that would look real! Most everyone I know here is looking for a new job or about to start looking. The micromanagement of the sales team is at an all time high, and the people managing (since the VP of Sales departed) have never sold software before. They have no idea what it takes to sell the product and do not trust their people at all. We have daily "stand ups" to talk about what we did yesterday and what we are doing today. Every day! This has turned into a nursery school. There are no SDRs left (they all quit or got fired) and very few incoming leads. If you come to work here, you will have no support and a greenfield territory - a recipe for disaster. It's unfortunate because the application works and this could have been a great company. There are plenty of cutting-edge startups for great salespeople. This is not one of them.

Pros

I don’t have any pros to share.

Cons

There are many other startups with real natural leaders. Thoughttrace can’t retain talented people. *The company is driven by 3 guys that believe they can do it all, but what that really means is that absolutely nothing is done well. *The head of Customer Success does not understand how to keep customers outside his network or to scale his team to support our customers. *Churn has been exponentially increasing during the last 5 months *The CEO is not a natural leader, he is young and impulsive.

Pros

-HR plans occasional gatherings -Working with smart and driven coworkers in other departments -Feeling like you make a difference at penetrating new markets -A lot of tech tools at your disposal -A lot more flexibility if you’re on the development side

Cons

-HR will push multiple complaints on the same issue under the rug -Executive team has no clear sense of direction, resulting in false opportunities and inflated pipelines -Extremely high turnover (>60%) due to mismanaged departments -Lack of communication/transparency from managers

We’d like to acknowledge the review. While in general we appreciate truthful and honest reviews as based on our successful certification as a Great Place To Work, it seems your posting here and on Google Reviews since your dismissal from ThoughtTrace using different accounts and representing yourself as having worked different jobs at ThoughtTrace, is neither productive nor healthy. We wish you the best in your future endeavors. ThoughtTrace
