Cons

*drink the kool-aid or be miserable *"diversity and inclusion initiative" is BS *"you're family" until they're done with you then please pack up and go and be shunned *only men know how to use a computer here so prepare for an explanation of something you already know how to do because are you sure you know how? hmmm no you probably can't read - only men can read silly! *"racism? from my bestie? no i'm sure you misunderstood" *they love your input...but only if it's about how they're perfect thoughtful heroes cause they're saving the world one terrible product at a time *"i understand that you have to spend a heinous amount of time responding to vitriolic messages but...i dunno i feel like customer service isn't AS important so we'll pay you the least!" *"you get a 50 cent raise!" [squints at check] 'cost of living adjustment' *the money hungry venomous pit viper in sheep's clothing - if you look deep into her eyes you can see there's nothing there! so...keep those problems to yourself. *if you're not at the top of the "family" tree, in that circle of upper bffs, if you speak out you will be gaslit because wow i don't think their bff would do that assume positive intent ok? *maybe i meant money hungry sadistic boa constrictor and venomous sociopath? *if it's between you and selling the 3rd house goodbye to you *the long established cult of fear: no one would dare speak out against a bestie because nothing will get done *"we don't want you to experience burnout...but...don't take too much time off. yes even if you just got out of surgery repairing your hand - have you tried setting up dictation?" *beware the male slack comedians *lied about layoffs then got rid of about half the company (including the woman who just returned from maternity leave! but they care, right?) *they don't know what a disability is...oh unless you tell them exactly what it is! otherwise you're faking it and why don't you love them? they're perfect! *prepare to be shut out of meetings so your idea can be credited to the team of besties *i'm sorry why aren't you leading a standing ovation and croaking out a tearful thank you for the absolute bare minimum they've done? seems ungrateful...are you even a team player? *no one actually has your back if they say it to you it's extremely fake everyone is afraid of losing their job *corporate greed now in a smaller package!

Pros

The constant change and opportunities Threadless provides not only the employees but artists around the world is amazing, if anyone ever gets the chance to work there I strongly suggest to take advantage of every second, since there is not another cooler place to work for. I had the chance to work directly with the founder a few times and help represent the company in presentations, events, meetings etc, it really provided me with a different outlook and approach into business and it was a great experience for my growth and motivation to start my own business as well.

Cons

With the growth comes constant changes, I miss the small tight artists community it once had.
