Pros

Taught great sales tactics while employed for them.

Cons

You'll see a TON of grand reviews. You are instructed to leave a good review, while on shift, when employed for them. Don't trust those. They are HUGE on reviews. On google, yelp, glassdoor, social media pages, etc... they have their current employees spam all platforms with raving reviews. They had me do it while employed. They expect their employees to be human robots. They will get on to you for yawning. No joke. Clay Clark held weekly meetings where he'd share his "words of wisdom". He'd, often, refer to Anxiety Disorder as "Made-up and an excuse for those with Poor Mentality". They convince you that you must sacrifice family, friends, and any free time, to work for not enough compensation, on the promise that Years down the line, you'll get a huge promotion with great salary. But, you have to "prove your loyalty" by working 60 hours/w for slim pay, for several years, before they give you that "deserving pay". But!!! You can speed-track that if you're married, or related, to someone that is higher up the chain. Nepotism plays a MAJOR role there. You can bust a** but if the CEO's niece decided she wants in, she can take the position/promotion you were promised and worked hard for. Clay bro's out with the men employees and give them opportunities the women aren't offered. He invites the guys back to his home "man cave" and those men are also promoted above others. Incredibly misogynistic environment. They are also, literally, preachy there. He spouts his Christian views onto his employees in his weekly meetings. He also pushes his political views and used the office to campaign for local/general elections. Super far-right Qanon type of lunacy. I could go on about how atrocious and toxic of an environment this place is. Not worth the sales tactics you could easily learn elsewhere.

Pros

There are good things about Thrive. 1. Cool environment 2. Cool people 3. You can make good money, sort of 4. The system works, clients do have their businesses and their lives improve. But you are not a client. 5. Great work schedule, sometimes

Cons

1. Don’t trust reviews. Management has employees and clients leave reviews on Glassdoor, and on google, and on Facebook, for brownie points. You can say no, but management will find someone to fill your position pretty soon. 2. There is an unspoken rule at thrive that you don’t ask what you are going to get paid for doing something. There are several times people have been called and asked to work for free over the weekends or late at night or super early in the morning. You can say no, but management will find someone to fill your position pretty soon. 3. It’s a call center. 4. Everything that is not part of the call center is designed like a factory system. You are no one, with no opinion, just do your job and go home, speak out and management becomes very cold to you. 4. Management loves hiring young, impressionable people who don’t know how the world really works yet. 5. It operates very similar to a cult. That might seem like strong language, but the bosses have a meeting with a message every week and encourage the workers to start hanging out with the people in the office more and to get rid of friends and family who do not think the same way they do. 6. Management encourages you to buy their books and leave a review prior to you reading it. If you say no they are relentless about asking. 7. It’s a lot of smoke and mirrors. They create artificial hype on a lot of things with the hope that people will get excited and create real hype. It’s a smart move, just shady in some cases.

Deep Thought: Should terrible employees who get fired be allowed to write reviews? As the founder of several successful companies I allow all candidates to shadow and to meet members of "The Cult" before they decide if they want to join the team. One should not sign up for the Marines if one is wanting to be a member of the Boy Scouts. A. Our management does not exclusively leave reviews on GlassDoor. In fact, employees of all rank leave reviews on GlassDoor. B. Every Monday and Friday our management team makes itself available to discuss employee pay. C. We do have thousands of customers who call our businesses and we do answer the phone for many businesses on behalf of the clients we service (ShawHomes.com, EITRLounge.com, etc.) and we don't hide that. One would think that when you are shadowing and see dozens of employees on a phone that one would draw the conclusion that we are "call center" or a "center for calls." Phones, people on phones, phones ringing...these are all signs of a call center. D. Management (Me) loves to hire coachable people who are looking for a career and not a job. We have an average employee age north of 30. E. I lead the meetings every week (Clay Clark) and I lead a conference every 2 months and I lead a podcast 9 times per week. If someone is not a good fit I would hope that they could figure this out before applying for the job, or shadowing at the workplace. For a Good Cult Time call my cell phone (which could be considered a "call center" because it is the center of where I receive my calls - 918-851-6920.

Pros

Working at Thrive15 you can expect.. -Happy Positive people -Encouragement and Coaching -Great Music -Freedom to Giggle -Big Bank Account -Creating a better version of you This company is absolutely unlike any other "job" you've had before. Clay and his team of A+ players will not only push you to be more successful financially but without even realizing it they help you create confidence. The office space not only plays the best music but it even has a disco ball! You won't have to worry about coming to work and trying to get in a good mood because you'll be so excited to see everyone that you'll be smiling and giggling throughout the day. The absolute best part is while you're excited to go work and enjoying your day you're offered multiple opportunities for growth and bonuses so there's no ceiling on what you can accomplish here.

Cons

-Early mornings (but is that really a con if you aren't lazy?)
