Pros

There aren’t any pros for this job but consider this your warning to turn around and run. FAST!

Cons

This is likely the worst company I’ve ever worked for. There is no formal training, but don’t worry they’ll be sure to reprimand you for their lack of training. CFI’s come and go and BEWARE of the owner and his posse pitting against you. If for some reason you make a wrong move you can expect a call from the owner or one of his minions yelling at you. This is a great company if you enjoy working in an environment where you get ignored daily by upper management and have responsibilities taken away for doing your job. Are you a female? Good luck! The odds of men hitting on you is high, and the chances of moving up in the company are low if not zero. Be prepared to hear lots of sexist and homophobic jokes if you work here too. It was clear to me that this wasn’t a company I wanted to work for and definitely did NOT agree with the way things were ran or how upper management treated others. There are so many options for getting your hours, I’d recommend going elsewhere because the owner will find any excuse to not pay you or give you hours. They give off major HAPPY FAMILY vibes but I’ve never felt so out of place and excluded in a workplace. They don’t do anything to appreciate their employees, and expect 24/7 availability for whatever needs may come up. Most of the employees who’ve been here for more than a year are 100% miserable and it shows. But then again most employees don’t even make it to that one year mark. Misery loves company but not mine!

Pros

hour building but thats all

Cons

didn't do my training here but was hired on a cfi. This place is absolutely toxic. The owners do not care about anything other than profits and growing the company. They purchased dozens of new airplanes and don't even have parking for them. All the instructors are miserable and there are so many cliques. not to mention most of them are hooking up with each other. If something goes wrong with the airplane the owner will call you and tell you u are a failure and ask why you broke his plane. Senior management is a joke. Pay is an absolute joke if you work only whats required of you. They have u do things all the time on your day off even though you are hourly. Got a job elsewhere after less than a year working here. do not apply to this prison.

Pros

Aside from some of the good people that work there, none.

Cons

Toxic environment, poor benefits, incredibly low employee and student morale, non-existent safety culture in the maintenance dept that the owner likes to tout (cutting corners to make the owner a dime), lack of structure, and employees only recognized when they put in 60+ hours and devote their life to the company. Owner is very condescending and not open to constructive criticism at all, even when he encourages it, with a poor temperament. I could go on and on. This is not exclusive to my experience.
