Pros

Only 1 - the product is great. It is a micromanaged set up. No work life balance if that is important

Cons

You have to go through a 8 week training which they don't tell you to prep for its not correct info when hired. You are expected to cold call pretty much all day. You are not offered genuine leads, you are to aggressively attain your own leads to call. You are micromanaged by coaches who some are good and others not as much. They are there to ensure you are doing things their way - they also tattle on you shoudl you not do well, not be engaging, make errors when calling and so on . so be careful. the staff and management are all robots and follow their false rah rah. its like little identical minions everywhere. there is not honesty there is only do everything there way. the exec management is interesting and lets leave it at that. Honeslty, someone on linkedin posted stay away i wish i had listend. Not a very proud moment for me working here. but i need the $ and insurance like everyone in the world

Pros

Thorough training when starting with great facilitators.

Cons

Very "culty" culture, selling outdated and broken products but everyone turns the other cheeks and pretends like it's the best thing since sliced bread. I took the role expecting it to be as an Account Manager for SaaS clients with a sprinkle of Yellow Pages customers. However, it was instead 99% old Yellow Pages Customers that were migrated to Thryv products whether they liked it or not since Thryv entered the Australian marketing by buying Sensis/Yellow Pages. They lie about stats to their customers, and instead of being honest, they omit information when they think it won't benefit themselves. Up until my last week claiminig 2,100,000 visits per month on YellowPages.com.au when in reality its 1/3 of that. They're cutting costs hard in the backend removing a lot of key staff, and sending the most critical work with things such as SEO and SEM campaign management and optimisation overseas to the Dominican Republic. The majority of accounts I spoke to were happy I called because it reminded them to cancel the products that they hadn't even asked for in the first place. Just take a look at the Truspilot reviews and the share price and you'll know better than to join.
