Pros

Growing company and international presence

Cons

Management do not care about employees welfare especially regarding work-life balance. The company culture/attitude is all about what’s good for them and not what’s fair to their employees , in all aspects, starting with the recruitment process. I was asked to supply a copy of my passport, address and copies of payslips (?!!) before I was even made an informal offer! When I pushed back about the payslips the internal recruiter suddenly did not require them so was clearly just trying it on. All companies to some extent try to keep salaries low but most don’t resort to such dodgy practices to achieve it...

Thank you for taking the time to write your review and we are sorry that you have not had a good experience with Thunes. We are concerned to read your comments as our management team thoroughly cares about their employees. In terms of work life balance we are increasing our headcount significantly as well as investing in a lot of technology to help automate internal processes as we go through the rapid growth we are currently experiencing. Our standard recruitment process does not require payslips and certainly not before any offers are made - this would have been an error on our side and apologies as that is not how we operate.

Pros

Liked my colleagues, they were friendly and global. Problems at leadership level. Thunes can’t keep revenue leaders around and many executives exited suspiciously. Revenue numbers aren’t explained. Business targets and sales goals unreasonable.

Cons

The founder’s style is authoritarian and his inner circle is secretive. Untrustworthy. Don’t consider a sales job at Thunes it is designed to fail.
