Pros

Thuzio has some really nice people working there and the location is very convenient. "Trendy" sounding job Happy hours are fun

Cons

As others have mentioned, the majority of the company is made up by young, inexperienced workers (including the CEO) willing to work for abysmal pay. It is a culture where the higher a person is on the totem pole the less they actually seem to work. - Employees are not made to feel valued and there is a tendency to use interns or those straight out of college who can be paid $10 an hour or 35k (for those lucky enough to get a salary/benefits) - In the past year many of the more talented employees (CTO, VP Sales, Events & Marketing) have quit or been let go due to chaffing with upper management - Upper management often "spins" information in a way that is less than forthcoming and very shady - Cramped and dirty office space - Unless you're one of the favorites you won't be getting much vacation time without seriously ruffling some feathers - Overall Thuzio can't seem to figure out what it wants to be. SaaS provider? Event company? This indecision to focus on one thing leads to a disjointed company, dueling priorities, everyone being spread too thin, and two weak products.

Pros

Good benefits (Covers premium health insurance plans). Fun company events. Nice office and location.

Cons

Main Events product too expensive and new subscriptions have been steady on the decline . Even after pivoting and rebranding, SaaS product is not gaining any market share. Employees rightly feel undervalued and unappreciated and many are looking for their next move. Because management is inexperienced with little relevant SaaS industry experience the product is very unimaginative. To be honest, with massive employee turnover, there is a reason this almost 5 year old company has under 50 employees and why so many original members have willingly left. Teams within the company are disjointed; since many people feel their opinions are not valued, communication between teams is very low.

Pros

any slight pro was largely outweighed by the cons

Cons

I could go on all day but bottom line is....They hired me and then fired me within 4 months due to lack of money. Teased the position as a "full time salaried job" when really the intent was to take advantage of an employee and mislead them, hiring them to build up their platform then fire them as soon as they got what they needed. What a joke! Full of post grads who are excited they easily locked in a job.....who will all soon find out why it was so easy!
