Diverse teaching assignments but low pay and few holidays

Pros

Lots of different teaching assignments. Breadth of material keeps it interesting. Almost all students are easy to work with and real teaching. Good way to get into teaching without a credential.

Cons

Pay rate is low. Not as many holidays as regular teachers. Must work summer to make an OK income.

inconsistent hours, terrible administration, and administration regularly makes exceptions for cheating and misbehaving students to keep their parents' business.

What a joke

Great interview process and lots of the right people in charge involved in that process. A lot of good teachers who care a lot but feel really trapped and powerless.

Cons

A power hungry and controlling leader that wanted to micromanage head of school and directly interfere with head of school and assistant head of school and also school board partnerships.
