Smoke and mirrors and a disaster of a company

Pros

I can honestly say the people I worked with on a daily basis were amazing. Snacks in the kitchen. Onsite carpark. Hosted the Christmas party at the Sydney Opera House but then lost my job 4 weeks later....

Cons

How to best sum up my experience at Till, a disappointment. Poor leadership that was irresponsible with investor money. How you blow through $110 million in series C funding so quickly with nothing to show is beyond me. Extreme growth and hiring last year without correlating that growth with actual business plans and strategy. Used employees as pawns not caring about the impact their actions caused by employees leaving good stable jobs to work at Till. Leadership has no clue what they are trying to accomplish with ZERO strategy/direction. Redundancies were communicated over a company-wide town hall which was very impersonal, and it's obvious that when it comes to having those tough conversations, leadership didn't have the decency to talk to people individually about losing their jobs. Leadership took the easy route and used market factors and the board as to why there were redundancies with no accountability for their own mistakes with aggressive growth plans and lack of strategy. Out of all of the redundancies that happened, it doesn't look like anyone in an officer position was made redundant. My only suggestion for anyone considering working here, stay away from this disaster of a company and anyone still here, run while you still can.

Liars, cheats and bully’s - INVESTORS SHAME on you for allowing this company to run its business with no accountability. The CEO and COO are only interested in there own agendas. Nepotism is the one constant in this company of dishonest management. BAD CULTURE, no woman in leadership and the business pipeline forecast is a lie to encourage more investment to fill the owners pockets. Only way to get ahead in this company is to be family…

Some really good developers trying really hard to deliver with lean teams.

Cons

I recently worked for this company and unfortunately had a very negative experience. The management team seemed to have a major issue with nepotism, with several key roles being filled by friends and family members of upper management. Additionally, the company was constantly pivoting their strategy every few months, which made it difficult to stay focused on any particular project or goal. The mismanagement of funds and roadmaps was also a major problem, with resources being allocated to ineffective initiatives and no clear direction for where the company was headed. Overall, I would not recommend working for this company.
