Pros
The location and clientele attract hardworking staff who genuinely want to do good work. The property itself has strong potential.
Cons
Management frequently delegates supervisory-level responsibilities to hourly employees without proper pay, title, or support. “Full-time” positions are effectively limited to approximately 30 hours, with inconsistent scheduling and limited overtime availability. Tip-based compensation is unevenly distributed and poorly explained, contributing to frustration and mistrust. Advancement is extremely limited, requiring years of experience for marginal raises. During my tenure, staff turnover was exceptionally high, excluding management and contracted housekeeping workers, indicating a serious retention issue.
