Pros

Paycheck comes every two weeks. Thats cool. Lack of leadership and lack of caring makes it almost impossible to be fired, so...if you're looking for a crappy job with good job security, you found the right place!

Cons

Majority of leadership (managers, directors, executives) are incompetent and do a good job drowning out the few competent employees in house. Of the dozens of employees I interacted with, there was only 1 person who had loyalty to TimePayment, everyone else was looking to abandon ship (this includes department leaders). Management and infrastructure is archaic. Cubicles, crappy computers, old internal systems that barely work (green screens!?) are your daily environment. IT blocks most things from your computer (no Pandora for you). There is NO modern accommodations. Low level managers are enforcers and follow the rules, directors/executives wander in and out of the office unaware that any rules exist (except when needing to reprimand). In short, the work environment is toxic. The CEO is a complete buffoon. Thankfully the company was acquired and he'll be out the door when he proves his incompetence. In fact, the only way this company has a chance of keeping great employees is if the acquiring company cleans house and removes the deadweight at the top of the foodchain. Department leaders fall into 1 of 3 buckets. 1.) They have become sedentary because they've been in the same role for 20 years. 2.) They worked their way up and earned their role but have lost all motivation to push the company forward because of severe inter-departmental issues, technological barriers, and lack of know-how amongst their peers. 3.) Lied on their resume and fell into a position, skulking around the office hoping not to be exposed (at least, by their complete lack of knowledge and competence, I assume this is the case). Look if you NEED a job, take the paycheck and make sure to keep looking for a real company. This place is soul crushing.
