There will always be growing pains with a company that evolves as quickly as TG has. That is to be expected though. Sometimes it might seem that the wrong call is being made, but in most cases it is well founded and more opportunities for growth arise from it. I’ve had disagreements with the owner and other employees a few times over policy or simple difference of opinion which in some cases can feel like you've been "mowed over" due to the fast pace of work. Communication is key though and being able to articulate clearly and efficiently will ensure your concerns are heard loud and clear (and they will be).
The HR director, Danyal, takes a direct and pragmatic approach to adjudicating workplace issues which may seem a bit black and white at times, but is fair and well rooted in HR policy as she has extensive experience in management positions of her own. This is a two-way street, though, and you will be advocated for fiercely if you feel a situation outside of the standard work dynamic must be addressed.
If you are not willing to be receptive to accepting input, collaborating with others, or are simply content with a static position, this is not the company for you. Through hard work, you ultimately will be able to define your role. The work environment is not one-sided, rather a constant dynamic of discourse. This might seem intimidating to some, but the TG team is just that: a team. If you are willing to be a part of that team, your experience at TG will be just that much more rewarding and gratifying.
