Pros

There are lots of talented people still working there.

Cons

Inexperienced people get promotions, management have little idea what they're doing, micromanagement is encouraged, HR have old fashioned views, and everyone with talent is fed up and leaving.

Typical Startup. All appears fine until you look closely

Pros

chill atmosphere, good lunches, nice office, central location.

Cons

Work cliques, false diversity, sexism, lots of fires behind the scenes. If you are not both young and Dutch you might get hired but do not expect to be respected here. The tech team is given benefits not revealed to other departments. Management jumps from one terrible idea to another trying to find a profit.

Pros

Nice colleagues Casual working environment Reasonable salary Decent product

Cons

Nepotism among upper management – friends hired with no regard for competencies No HR presence – always hiring new staff so too busy, questions and complaints go unanswered Corporate 'values' increasingly ignored, with a emphasis on quantity over quality in terms of products/tickets sold Strong tech focus at the expense of other departments Inconsistent management style with regular last-minute decisions negating hours of hard work
