Pros

You meet a lot of really cool people, but it ends there. This is essentially a modern day MLM

Cons

Half of our staff didn't receive paycheques and when we did it wasn't correlated to the hours worked. Theres no real training, you literally just get tossed in with a few unfavourable marketing methods that EVERYONE strongly dislikes about sales people. Management is unreliable, and rude

Pros

Titan Elements is a good company to work for if you're looking to gain entry level experience into sales, or if you're okay with working 10-12 hour days and spending hours commuting. There is even some travel incentive included. But as far as "Pros" go, that's about it.

Cons

Titan Elements is not a career, it's a stepping stone. During the interview process you'll be told many promising things such as "The potential to grow within this business is extremely promising" or "You could make anywhere from $20 - $30 a day" neither of which are true. You're almost always going to make minimum wage and the opportunity for growth is non existent. You'll also be told "We pay for your gas as long as you give us a copy of the receipt" which sounds completely fair, until you hand over your receipts and find out they were conveniently lost, which results in all of the travelling being done out of your own pocket. not to mention you're sometimes looking at 5 hours of travelling time (round trip) depending on where you're sent. With this company it's unfortunate, but the cons significantly outweigh the pros.

Pros

Most of the people you will meet are great and full of energy. This may be considered a pro or a con but most reps are under 25.

Cons

They don't deliver on promises, both wages and promotion. Lots of travel on your own dime (transit cost or gas and vehicle ware and tare). Expected to do some things on your own time without compensation. You are paid by the hour but expect to be on long conference calls, but together binders , etc. on your own time. You are on your feet all day. You will rarely make commission because the goals are set so high; so expect minimum wage. And Finally with some managers if your a rep EVERYTHING is your fault.
