      Terrible place to work

      Pros

      Full kitchen available to use, some group outings such as movies during work hours on opening day, decent medical benefits available

      Cons

      No clear vision for the company or departmentally. Managers come and go as they please, no accountability for work done. Have to jump through hoops to be a part of a non existent team. Rules aren't the same for eveyone. Impossible to move up and horrible pay scale. Management is a joke, products and site itself receive terrible traffic and are not sustainable.

      Pros

      Palo Alto based company, lax office environment, no one checks up on when you come in, lots of sick days you can take

      Cons

      The traffic on the site is way down, very few advertisers, sketchy content make Topix a place that won't be around much longer. It's a great place to get a pay check and hardly work for it. Absentee leadership, no vision for the future, seems like they are hoping for someone to buy them out,

      Couldn't Take It Anymore

      Pros

      There can be some fun times in regards to parties and the benefits are admittedly not bad.

      Cons

      The website is terrible. On most of the forums 70-90 percent of the content is users posting lies about one another. There isn't enough staff to even remotely touch on the problems that plague the website and to work for a company that justifies this behavior can be frankly sickening. You go home at night and realize you work for a company that promotes bad behavior, gossip, people's marriages being ruined and at one time drug sales and other indecent things.
