Like any startup, there are growing pains such as wearing a lot of hats. In my time, I've played the part of marketer, salesperson and recruiter. But, it was all part of growing our own business, so it didn't feel like a burden. One challenge was establishing our identity due to the nature of agency work. While we had our guiding principles, it can be hard to find that thread of relevancy to every client since each project can vary so much depending on nature of client's business.
