Pros

I am the owner and founder of TNT. I have built this company from the ground up over the last 30 years and take pride in being the best in what we do. We care about our clients and we care about our team. It is important we have the right kind of employees on our team in order to continue to grow. I am writing in response to the last 3 negative reviews - all of which have been the same person. This employee was let go for insubordination, lack of work ethic and overall incompetence. Fortunately, over the last 3 decades this is a rarity. We do multiple interviews to find the right fit. I knew this person on a personal level prior to hiring and this one blindsided me- She is very upset and this is a way for her to lash out. I feel it is very important to address some of her comments. - No health insurance - not true. Granted this is our "newest" addition due to us "hearing from employees" on how important this for them. Yet in the past we never misled those we interviewed. All who came on board knew we did not offer health insurance at the time. However, we have always offered all other benefits as a small company, such as FSA, matching 401k, PTO, credentialing, professional liability, money towards CEC's, bonuses and multiple growth opportunities. - Turnover- Yes we do have turnover! We also have those who have been with us for years. We often hire RD's right out of school. Although we would love to keep them forever, this is usually their first job and I certainly can not fault them for eventually wanting to try something new. I can guarantee that when they do leave us they have become quite seasoned and skilled RD's. Others have left for other reasons I can not control ( starting a family, relocating, desire to move into a different field or line of work ) - but very few have left because they are upset with the company. - Burnout - Yes this happens. Our goal is to help our team work smarter not harder. This previous employee had a hard time figuring this out and was not open to constructive feedback. In our line of work you set your own hours and you work at your own pace. Many RD's coming out of school start making 70k (+) after the first 2 years. The money is good, it is performance based. I care about my company- I care about our clients and about my team! I am a hands on owner - I always make myself available to my employees if they need me or have concerns.

Cons

In order to work in our private practice we do need the following skills. This last employee had a difficult time achieving these skills so we needed to part ways. Granted this departure was not how I prefer to let people go thus why she is so upset. -Good at being time efficient. We want people to work smarter not harder. We help teach this to those willing to learn. - Good at communicating - not only is it important to be able to properly communicate with your clients but also your teammates and most importantly management. - Organized and ability to prioritize. These are important skills for what we do. For many it is not a problem. I would say the first 3 months with our company are the most challenging only because you are learning so many different things at once. After the first 3 months, even RD's right out of school usually have a full book of business and fall into a nice routine. In summary, I certainly am not perfect and my company is not perfect- I do believe running a business will always be a "work in progress" and we can always make improvements, but the info that has been posted since March from this disgruntled employee is simply not true as she was just not the right fit for our company. I do not appreciate her multiple negative reviews. I do wish her well and hope she can find something more suitable for her.
