Pros

There are no pros to working here. The place just cares about making money only and nothing else matters like patient care or quality of care.

Cons

The place is all about numbers. How many patients can be done in a day and not about quality of care. They push their technologists to do more and more. They work you like a slave and want you to do things that you may not be trained to do. There is no room for advancement unless you start out working at the front desk then you may move to something that pays a little bit more but not much and that is not done frequently. Also, there is not much diversity there at all, throughout the entire company. I really don't think there is a person of color that works in top management at all.

Pros

“Quarterly bonuses,” outpatient facility, “easier” patients, longer shifts and less working days

Cons

If you work at the mesquite location you’ll be chronically overworked, while also being underpaid. Management cares about nothing but numbers and money. No respect for techs or their time. You’ll be expected to come in early and stay late to accommodate patients that demand a specific time or show up extremely late, even though the facility is open for 12 hours, plus Saturdays. You’ll be expected to start the day with a completely full schedule, while also seeing add ons, walk ins, stats, etc. You name it. There’s never enough help. Temps work once and never come back, and most know to avoid the facility altogether. The clinic is full of favoritism, manipulation, and cattiness/gossiping.

Pros

The hours depending on the center you work can be great. Some places only work M-F while some others might have you work on the weekend. We get a "bonus" depending on how CT and MRI does. It could be nice to have some extra money every month when reaching that goal.

Cons

Technologists are second class at some places in the company. MRI and CT are scheduled in blocks with little to no break in between. There is only a 30 minute lunch meal for a 12 hour day and when a patient is late, you can expect not to take a lunch that day. Management expects the techs to stay later to accommodate patients who arrive late or have last minute orders. The pay is not all that great across the board. They talk about making a bonus when you reach your goals but there are some centers that almost never reach the goal. The hours fluctuate and could change at a moments notice. You might be promised to work certain days and have Sundays off, until they change their mind. Then management might decide to open Sundays and techs are expected to be okay with it. These places are all about money. If they can change a code to make some more money, they will. Dealing with the front staff can be a challenge. They are severely overworked and underpaid. They are expected to do too many things and PSRs tend to quit because of the workload. Because they are overworked, they tend to make mistakes that affect the technologists.
