Pros

Hmmmm, you get paid. Wish i could say something more positive but this place treats you like a migrant worker. You get healthcare, but no matching 401 and the dental only covers cleanings.

Cons

You will be threatened at some point. They fire people right after they give them a good review. Everyone here is looking to leave. At least we get to take toy samples home, but if you give them as a gift make sure they work first. Also, it is an environment where you can't trust anyone if you need to talk about concerns.

Dead End

Pros

Free toys Some nice people working there, and I guess the oppressive, nasty enviroment builds a sort of camaraderie... Once in a while, you get a free lunch. Free... office supplies?

Cons

Mediocre salary Management is crazy cheap-- not even free coffee Flying coach to Hong Kong several times a year and then sharing a tiny room with another employee for a week Office is old, gross and overcrowded- the conference table is several dirty plastic folding tables shoved together Lots of abusive tantrums and foul language Lots of firings (see above) WAY too much drama (again, see above) Parking lot too small and prone to fender benders You must ask two weeks in advance in writing to use your vacation time. VERY bad communication within the US office and with the HK office and with the factory in China. No, really. Horribly bad communication. You will waste many hours, days, even weeks of your time because senior management could not spare 30 seconds to give you clear direction. You will be scolded for asking for clear direction You have to fight and beg to get the basic tools to do your job. Little or no room for advancement, unless you are in the HK office Company has lofty goals but little insight, skill or courage to achieve them.
