      Simple hiring process, and management will get you on a rig and functioning as soon as possible.

      Cons

      Busy service, long hours, but welcome to EMS. That will happen everywhere.

      The work is fairly easy. This job definitely won't tax your brain. It would also be a good job if you had amnesia and forgot all your skills.

      Cons

      The pay is the lowest in the area.

      It was the place to be, but then it went down the tubes over the last couple months.

      Pros

      Reasonably sized service area. Safe and new vehicles. Schedule flexibility. Sunday Day and Weekday Evening dispatcher. Porters that wash the vehicles.

      Cons

      Weekday Morning/Early Afternoon Dispatcher. Ambulances are rarely fully stocked with necessary supplies. A culture that rewards and promotes call quantity, shortcuts, and rushing to get things done while punishing those who do their job to the best of their ability. Needed supplies often on backorder. Antiquated equipment on the ambulances. Strong favoritism among management. Expired supplies sometimes are not replaced. Raises do not keep up with inflation. Often held over, although that's every private EMS agency.
