Pros

1). Smart people to work with. 2).Catered lunches once a week. 3). Near metro and local restaurants. 4). Excellent product that is well received by our clients. 5). A commitment for growth and improvement in our product.

Cons

There is a serious leadership problem within the sales department. There is a constant high turnover of sales managers. They are always advertising for new sales positions and doing open houses, but most sales people don't stay very long. Expectations are too high and unrealistic. In addition, they appear to be hiring mostly young people straight out of college or with limited sales experience, rather than reach out and hire more older and experienced people. This may be due to the culture of "fitting in" rather than hiring people who believe in the company's mission and who have the skills to improve sales. While on the surface it maybe great to work with people with the same background and education, having a more diverse group of sales employees could help shake things up and improve the sales department. This is a start-up company that is still trying to figure things out, but they need to hire more experienced and mature managers and sales employees if they ever want to grow. This is a consistent problem with start-ups that are too consumed with culture and getting along rather than focus on getting the job done right.

Pros

Free lunch, insurance is company paid and a (real) Corgi mascot

Cons

Tons of turnover...Management says they take feedback from people but while they listen they never apply it or make changes. Product is good, but not good enough for the price tag!

Great company culture, no work-life balance

Pros

It's a young, fun company with a great atmosphere. The people are super friendly and are people you'd want to hang out with outside of work. Each employee's dedication to the product is contagious, and there was a clear sense across the company that we were all working toward a common goal. For being a start-up, there was a great amount of structure/documentation. But there were also many chances to dream and implement new ideas. Management was approachable and structure was pretty flat. There was a lot of transparency across the company (in most cases)

Cons

For certain departments/positions, the work-life balance is awful. Certain departments didn't feel the same sense of urgency as others, which caused a bottleneck. For certain roles, there was way too much work and not enough staff. Despite this, departments were downsized and a large amount of people were laid off without warning.
