Pros

Competitive salary, benefits, Suite of services. Ownership team are always trying to innovate and grow. Large company, many offices/Opportunities (If you land in the right team)

Cons

Leadership constantly used the threat of termination as a tool. Overhiring in several departments, leading to quick turnovers, reflecting poor planning. Directives changed often and rapidly, creating contradictions and again poor planning. Leadership motives were always clear, chasing promotions over their duties of management, mentorship. A general lack of people skills and empathy in some managers.

Pros

I heard and read such great things about Traffix before deciding to join the team - It came highly recommended from friends that owner Chuck Snow is a really great guy and clearly, people have nothing but great things to say about him. I must admit that they really do have some Great people there (Doc and Mark especially) I really appreciated working alongside both of them. Their ambition and workmanship was inspiring. Upon meeting them- I was instantly wiling to jump on board- which also made it difficult to walk away in the end. The compensation was as expected for the experience I had in the industry, they did NOT lowball me.

Cons

During the first 3 weeks, I spent my time shadowing others in different departments...There was no "clear" department I would be in. They threw around all these "big" titles to me about supervisor this and that. but no real follow through. I believe the time I joined was especially difficult as this was when they were opening the Oakville location. There was also immense pressure to start calling customers from my previous employer to try and poach them, which I wasnt about to do (especially not right away) I feel like most of the staff in there do not know how to maximize the use of TruckMate, which was unfortunate, as it has so much to offer, and I felt that management didn't appreciate that I was able to help train staff on how to better utilize the program. Rotating Saturdays were really less than ideal, especially after working Monday to Friday (they should've had designated weekend shift staff- I didn't complain about it though, I thought this was what everyone did when they first started off, turns out- that's not the case) Overall the environment seemed super appealing at first, but the open concept really allows people to holler across the room instead of walking over to you...and when a coworker (who may not be as professional as you) is not happy with you...the entire room knows- which is humiliating...and just flat out disrespectful. It certainly does not promote good morale in the workplace.

Pros

None to mention. Some people are friendly.

Cons

Slave drivers who want you to work 24 7 for a minimal pay. Tons of promise, zero delivery on the management part. Waste of your time and talent.

Although we appreciate honest and constructive feedback, we want to flag this review as false. The Toronto office will only be celebrating their 3-year anniversary this summer. There are also no Logistics Coordinator titles in Toronto. We pride ourselves on rewarding our logistics professionals with above industry average compensation and benefits.
