Pros

This clinic was in a pretty bad shape for some time and i was concerned about what the direction was. However, new people came in and there has been such a great difference!! The clinic and company leadership has done a very fine job getting the clinnic the resources it needs for the staff and the children. I am very impressed with the changes made, the differnce is BIGG. I enjoy coming in each and day and having fun and doing great therapy for the kids, they deserve it. The team is a little smaller but downscaling has been good. I love this south teammmm and our little babiess <3

Cons

scheudling is sometimes not very good and there needs to be some upgrades to clinic. Also new bcba is coming and that is much needed because only one full time bcba right now has been tough. Some kids having challenging behavior which can be tough

Pros

Sometimes the BCBA’s can be nice but they clearly have favorites. As someone that worked here for about a year I can say that when I first started I was enjoying my time learning about the field. The kiddos are adorable don’t even get me started.

Cons

My schedule quickly became full and sick pto ran out fast. The clinic allows kids to come even when sick or have thrown up therefore you always get sick. Once I left training wheels I haven’t been sick at all! It’s clear that it was because of the dirty clinic and kids. Speaking of dirty clinic, it’s crazy how even when it’s time for you to go home you can’t! They make you clean lol. I didn’t sign up to be a maid and rbt. This only started happening once the clinic opened expanded in both locations and children. Schedule are basically rendered useless as even when you think you finally get a break you have to watch a kid you know even know that can be really challenging. Some kids are AGGRESSIVE and you are left alone in a scary situation. I felt hopeless working here and my mood was at an all time low. Not only that but sometimes you have to leave super late because of the parents. When you complain about this your BCBA basically ignores this mainly because they have already left and don’t care. Now the pay… pay was terrible. You start off super low and you have to practically beg for more. In austin you can’t survive with the little pay you get and especially for what you do at training wheels. For the work you do here you deserve so much more. In short there are other ABA clinics that pay better and especially treat you better. Leaving this place has helped me so much more mentally, I don’t hate waking up anymore.

Pros

There are no pros working at this company.

Cons

I feel compelled to share my honest feedback about my time working at Training Wheels ABA. Unfortunately, my experience , I can only describe as a toxic work environment. It is crucial for employees to speak up to the organization's leadership to address this issue. This is a problem starting from the top down. The atmosphere at Training Wheels ABA was characterized by negativity, unprofessionalism, fraud and a lack of support. Instead of fostering a healthy and collaborative work environment, it felt as though employees were treated poorly and often subjected to disrespect. This toxic culture can significantly impact staff morale, job satisfaction, and ultimately the quality of services provided. Additionally, the issue of underpaid employees persists within the organization. The compensation provided did not adequately reflect the responsibilities and dedication required for the job. Fair and competitive compensation is essential for attracting and retaining skilled professionals who are passionate about the work they do. Training Wheels does not have the potential to be a place where employees thrive and provide exceptional services to their clients. Fixing the toxic work environment from starting with leadership and ensuring fair compensation are crucial steps towards a better working environment!
