Pros

People are down-to-earth and feel like real humans. There's not much BS to wade through ("no red tape" is a value). Almost everyone I've worked with here has a GSD attitude and high attention to detail, but also with a sense of calm and a ton of respect for their teammates. Shoutout to the leadership team for hiring and retaining great employees, and being willing to put in the effort to help people get to that point (or move on, if they can't). As a manager, I feel super supported by the larger leadership team. Trainual has a whole People *team* who is constantly pushing to make working here a great experience, which is a dream as a manager. There's a big focus on work-life balance. There's also an (optional) weekly group meditation on zoom which is an awesome perk I didn't know I needed. As a remote employee, I feel super connected and like a part of the team, even though a lot of other people here are not remote. There are recurring fun remote events, and the company is willing to fly everyone out twice a year (for a company retreat and then an end of year party), which is amazing.

Cons

The PTO package is pretty fair/standard, but if I could change one thing, I'd start to give folks additional time off the longer they've worked here.
