Don't Be Fooled

Pros

Only pro would be some of the team members I worked with while employed but was told there are only 2 people left working there that were employed when I was.

Cons

I worked for Transpak full time for multiple years. Don't be fooled by the perfect picture they paint of how being an employee for their company is. This is not the "friendly family" company they present themselves to be. Be prepared for long hours, loads of work, and no help. Low work morale. Upper management doesn't care about their employees and offer no help. You get a lot of promises for raises / new positions but they're normally being sugar coated and under ulterior motives. They don't care about their employees at all, the proof is in the reviews (skip over the positive reviews left by family members and read the true stuff).. The leadership team turn over was more times than I can remember in the 4 years of working there which speaks volumes for any company. I've heard through the grape vine that there has been a lot of changes recently in management and if that's the case, run in the other direction!!!

Upper management/ownership does not care about employees. Company does nothing to show appreciation to employees even after having record breaking growth years.

Pros

Great place to start a career and grow Fast paced, creative environment Talented people get recognized Flexible hours Work as much and as hard as you want or not work at all. No one will question it but your progress in the company will be a reflection of your work. Work with household name companies in the silicon valley

Cons

Not everyone pulls their weight, but the ones that do get promoted Compensation packages are improving but they are not great It's not a "bean bags and catered food" companies like the in silicon valley.

Pros

You're constantly busy so the days went by fast

Cons

Management has no idea how to manage, listen to your employees!!! When customers are complaining, there's a problem. Senior management came in and acted like a dictatorship and fired a bunch of people without reason. Sad to see. Employees are over worked and underpaid.

Pros

People are generally enjoyable to work with and there is a sense of ownership to the “We make it happen” mantra.

Cons

Lack of value communicated to employees... at all levels, at least in my experience and those of my peers/subordinates. Lack of positive reinforcement/motivation. Pay scales were grossly inconsistent and undervalued with no clear metrics for success and next steps for career growth.
