Pros

Great people who are passionate about their job and the company. There has been lots of changes over recent years however, the senior management team have done a good job and have a clear strategy for the organisation which is communicated to employees. The management team listen and take on board your comments.

Cons

Lack of resource. We are a lean organisation we need more employees. Deadlines can sometimes slip due to limited resource this can be frustrating.

Pros

Great customers, very profitable business, nice office in Paris (lot of space, they are almost empty...). Nice co-workers and good salary

Cons

No Strategy at all, no new solutions to sell, outdated technology. Excepted UK(monopolistic market), senior management doesn't care about Europe

Pros

- People have vast experience across payment gateway industry

Cons

- High attrition rate - Processes are just mind games - Senior Management is the leftover of a great team and so can never provide a congenial working environment

Pros

Pay is fairly good, Office and the people working there are competent and nice people. Fairly good PTO policy, Overall project being worked on is interesting and has generally positive societal impact.

Cons

TNS is a very old-school company, and there is a lot of expecting people to be able to take long calls at all times instead of using chat or email to solve problems. Structure is very heirarchical, and teams are often siloed, with individual contributors actively reprimanded for communicating across team boundaries. Ground-up innovation is discouraged in favor of top-down central planning and secret agendas. LOTS of company politics - many senior personnel are unqualified and clearly only in their positions due to nepotism or tenure. Work on client requests is often delayed or not even delivered due to problem individuals acting as bottlenecks. Senior management seems to have no control or power over these individuals. HR seems to look down on employees in other offices, and has suddenly changed or not delivered on promises for employee benefits. HR will also not accommodate LGBTQ individuals unless strictly legally required to. I would recommend staying away, but they have outsourced all hiring to India anyway.

Circus…a dying circus

Pros

Located in Reston, which was convenient for the commute. Friendships developed with my ex-colleagues

Cons

Belonging to Private Equity. The PE firm that bought us, Siris, is not motivated to invest in capable senior management or in new areas of growth. The company is stuck in legacy business and won't invest in new growth areas. Half of the management was looking for jobs elsewhere, and the other half is frightened to make decisions.

Pros

Great expertise in signaling and roaming. Overall good people employed - especially those that came from the Verisign group acquired. Decent company benefits.

Cons

Very little executive level visionaries who understand the areas where investment is required for growth. Highly risk averse
