This company is run by an out of touch billionaire from his yacht. He could care less about anyone other than himself and his sole purpose is extracting as much money as possible from anyone he can at any cost.

Newer management that has come in has new ideas and salary is great.

Cons

All the old holdovers from Sears are dragging that company down. They do the same thing they’ve been doing for 30 years and wonder why nothing is working out correctly. Unless you’re a vice president, you will not have any power at this company to do anything you’ll have the title and all the headache without any of the power to make anything different.

The only thing good about the company is the people your work with. Unfortunately, that is not sufficient to feel motivated. The only positive thing to say is that most of the positions are remote.

Cons

Unless you get a role in SR. leadership, you will not see any raises or bonuses. I have been with the company for a couple of decades, and I could count on one hand how many raises I received. Additionally, the company has downsized so much that employees are doing multiple responsibilities irrelevant to your job description. If you want to work for a place that doesn't focus on employees, does not match the market on compensation, and does not allow you to spend time with family, this company is for you.
