      Beware - Toxic Culture

      Pros

      Good place to learn. Decent work life balance.

      Cons

      Company doesn’t really care about their employees. Used to be a great place to work but there is a reason that senior level employees are leaving. They spend more time overloading their employees and then looking to blame them for issues than actually coaching and mentoring. Some of the leaders are very untrustworthy. Prepare to be thrown under the bus at every opportunity.

      Hopeful That Uber Freight Culture Replaces Transplace Culture - Otherwise Avoid

      Pros

      Good place to learn transportation logistics. Some really great people at the contributor levels. Has continued to grow even during difficult economic landscape.

      Cons

      Very poor merit increases - lowest of my 30 year career by 2-3% annually. Average healthcare benefits. Poor 401k matching and investment options. Depending on department, work/life balance is non-existent. Upper management that doesn’t really listen to employees. They put on a front that they do, but in reality, do not. An HR kingdom that has WAY too much power, and only serves the interests of the executives and their own department. They do nothing to actually help employees, including hiring managers.
