There are so many but I will try not to ramble on.
On call evenings, weekends, nights, requests from management made to work over vacations and holidays, come in when you are sick or have time booked off for a medical reason, etc.
Work STATs with no skeleton crew or rotation, everyone in the office when most of their customers are closed.
On call schedule for Christmas day. CHRISTMAS DAY.
The interview process was relatively painless, but the promises made and expectations set were night and day to what the job was actually like. Their work/life balance is atrocious (they pride themselves on it) and their management is toxic. They refuse to let go of the reins to middle management, so upper management is way too involved in day to day operations.
Staff is constantly changing, high turnover and shuffling of desks and jobs, clients, responsibilities. No time to actually do your job because you are consistently learning a new customer or training someone new who will quit in 6 months. Everything is a 'rush' every day and you know what they say; when everything is important, nothing is important.
