High Growth Potential, Lacking Professional Offboarding Standards
Pros
Travel Radar is an incredible launchpad for ambitious people. I started as a Recruitment Coordinator and moved up to People Executive, and that growth is fairly real. The environment is inclusive, and for the most part, you’re surrounded by a team that is ready to jump in and help. The flexibility is a major plus, and the perks are a nice touch for a volunteer role. If you’re looking to build your CV and work with a supportive group of peers, there is a lot of value to be found here.
Cons
The transition concluded when my external work schedule and health requirements necessitated more rigid boundaries. Following transparent communication regarding my limitations and intent to resign, the professional rapport diminished. This period included an inconsistent handling of internal correspondence, which contextualized personal information in a manner inconsistent with my stated position. Furthermore, although referencing was established as an expected component of this volunteer tenure, they were not provided upon departure. Consequently, the final month of service involved a lack of standard administrative support, unclear communication, and failure to meet their resignation documented terms in return.
