Pros

Good pay Decent benefits with the exception of Medical Insurance Good PTO except it doesn't roll over and you're forced to use it if you accumulate too much. Many good employees who simply want to help make a difference.

Cons

Departments do not work cohesively or communicate with each other to a point that it directly impacts the pay of the sales reps and the experience of their partners. The Sales Team is not involved with key business decisions and if they are, they are merely told what is happening rather than having a voice in the decision that was made. Essentially, Travelex is a sales organization who places the actual sales reps at the bottom of the totem pole. This has led to high turnover in recent years especially amongst those in leadership positions. It's a very cliquey organization built by blatant nepotism. It's literally an inside joke amongst most employees. Leaders from various departments have fled in the last 2 years. Largely due to a poor culture, lack of support, lack of company growth and poor decision making by the CEO.

Pros

Pay and cost of benefits matches standard of living. This is a great fit for people who love socializing and climbing the corporate ladder. There are many opportunities for those who socialize and make work their life outside of the 8-5. Able to learn and try out new ideas and techniques within company acceptable parameters.

Cons

No accommodations for disabilities and will be written up or pushed out if you ask for accommodation. Must act in line and be a full on company person every minute you are in the building. Trust does not exist. Very clique, make sure you understand a person talking to your face will talk behind your back, and it will not be what the person said to your face. No individuality. If you are not like the other people in the office, the company will see this as negative and want you to change who you are or get you out the door. What one person does on a similar job level, cannot be done by another person on that level. Ex. Wearing headphones while working Will keep track of what you do wrong and make sure to keep you accountable to every minutiae item. Will follow you when you go on a bathroom break or an office break to track your time away from your desk, but only do this to certain people. Will literally come stand in front of the bathroom door to see what you are doing. It’s a bit awkward/creepy. Gaslighting, point out something unusual or something that factually happened and will be told you are wrong and it is you who is the issue or misunderstands.
