Pros

Beautiful Office and Location, extremely Talented workforce, ideal company to expand your professional network, great technology.

Cons

Although the CEO may come across as kind, sometimes friendly and caring, he is still only a entrepreneur. He is not a leader and there’s a significant difference between the two. HR is ill equipped and under staffed to assist and care for employees effectively especially during a time of crisis. They show no empathy or compassion to employees. Lack of transparency Poor communication You’ll constantly feel as though the company has something up their sleeve that’s not in your best interest as an employee Your growth depends on who you have in your corner never mind your work ethic or qualifications. Management constantly changes their minds and expect quick turnaround times when they’re all over the show on their decisions and actions. You need to have hair on your teeth to survive here

Pros

- Nice office - Flexible working hours - The travel industry is a very complex and challenging environment

Cons

- Most of senior management have toxic attitudes and or narcissistic behaviour, and roles often change. Bad leadership with no support structure - Extremely poor communication, lack of transparency and a lot of dishonesty / talking behind others backs - Handled COVID-19 distastefully, leaving employees constantly wondering where they stand. Getting staff to go into voluntary retrenchments at a lower pay out as they don't have money for proper retrenchments. No empathy shown whatsoever. Even staff who were not initially retrenched were so fed up that they opted to rather leave and cut their losses. - CEO wanted to restructure and start from fresh (like a startup) before COVID-19 and I believe he is using this terrible situation to his advantage - If you resign you are treated as if you are no longer worth anything to them, and people often leave before their resignation period is over as they have nothing left to do very early on. Whereas they could be doing more handovers and still bring value to the team. - Blame culture with benefits being revoked overnight including taking away the Foosball and Table Tennis tables, and revoking all work from home arrangements, immature "punishment" - causing a very unpleasant work culture. - People are demotivated and dissatisfied with their jobs, it's easy to see that people are unhappy and most conversations revolve around these topics. - Low increases - Management seems to hire arrogant people as they clearly perform better
