Hard work doesn't pay

-Fully remote -Trips to HQ paid-for by the company at summer and winter -Freedom to get your hours in whenever

Cons

-Overworked -No pay levels for software engineers -All your activity is tracked -Constantly made to feel bad about made-up metrics, which they use and abuse to not give payrises -No bonuses -No real incentives

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback and it's great to hear that you enjoy the flexibility that Traveltek offer with working hours. Overworked is an interesting point to raise as the expectation is 37.5 hours a week, tracking this activity shows where there may be a challenge and your line manager should work with you to address this. Tracking activity and metrics is key to many businesses and whilst we appreciate this is a new way of working, these 'made up metrics' work across 1100 B2B software companies, of which we now benefit from shared learning. Everyone in the business got a payrise this year. We appreciate incentives globally may differ, but all staff benefit from Udemy training access, Perkbox and flexible annual leave allowance. UK staff also benefit from increased healthcare allowance this year and Mintago financial support. Feedback is listened to and where possible acted upon.

The Travel Industry is something that I have been around all my working life, and to work for a tech company in this domain is perfect for me. I am based from home, and we can work efficiently and collaboratively on calls and screen sharing. Traveltek are a flexible employer that supports, hard work and at the same time life balance, as we have customers based all around the globe .

Cons

Its fast-paced, which can be challenging, so hang on to your seat! Never 2 days the same.
