Pros

My time at Tray.ai was transformative. It is rare to find a company that perfectly balances a high-performance environment with a fun, supportive culture. The team is comprised of genuinely smart people who are always willing to help you level up. It’s been one of the best chapters of my career so far, and I can’t recommend the Tray team enough to anyone looking for their next big challenge.

Cons

Like any successful company in this space, the pace of scaling can be chaotic. You have to be comfortable with rapid change and the "building the plane while flying it" nature of high growth

Ego-Driven Leadership, Strong Teams Carry the Load

Pros

The Solutions Architects, SDK, Sales Engineers, delivery, and engineering teams are strong partners and consistently adapt when needed, even in challenging conditions.

Cons

A sale is a sale, and leadership prioritizes closing deals—often chasing big-name logos—even when it’s clear the product isn’t the right fit and the client is likely to churn. Compensation is below market, and executives favor “yes” leaders over those willing to challenge decisions and address real issues. Executive leaders are regularly pushed to burnout, after which the executive team steps in, convinced they can do it better. When that inevitably fails, they cycle in new executive leadership with impressive credentials. It’s a revolving door, and it shows.
