Pros

Beer and merch discounts, great coworkers, good health benefits.

Cons

No input allowed from staff. Poor communication from upper management. Tipping is discouraged by the company (hides the tip button for online purchases under a “merchandise” tab instead of appearing as an option towards the end of the transaction). Breaks are scheduled poorly, staff are either sent on their break within 2 hours of arriving to work (allowing for a full 6 hours straight on the floor) or 6 hours into the shift. It is also an emotionally unhealthy work environment.

Pros

Good Discount, Health Insurance Paid

Cons

Operates like a cult. Poor pay and lack of growth opportunities . No trust in management at the stores, they told us we were going to start a big project hours before it began. CEO calls all the shots and makes each and every miniscule decision. No forecasting or pre planning with each and every project. COMMUNICATION IS NEARLY NON EXISTANT. They are a reactionary business, with no thought as to how the staff are effected by quick decisions. Pivot and Adapt should not be a "fun" term that you've coined to cover for your poor planning and mistakes.

Pros

Some great staff, free beer is nice, good insurance (if you're full time).

Cons

The owner is overly focused on opening new locations and getting views on his Youtube page. Management is ineffective, often promoted with little regard for competency. Upward mobility only if you're a "yes-man". Bad communication. Product quality has dropped markedly over the years. Tree House uses their image/reputation to find workers who are passionate about the company and thrilled to work for them, then exploits their enthusiasm.
