Pros

Amount of PTO, 401k with match, annual bonus, some good people still left.

Cons

Where to begin? Trellance has a toxic environment that comes from the CEO on down. While they talk of servant leadership they have no desire or concept of how to implement it. People have been asked to spy on their coworkers and conversations eavesdropped on to the point where people avoid eating in the lunchroom. There is no career development path for employees or direction from leadership. They bait and switch and misrepresent positions there to lure people in, only to have them quit one they realize the truth. I'm talking from C level positions on down. The place is a revolving door. It's disgraceful how some people have been treated there and then slandered afterwards. They have lost so many good people it's a shame and many more are trying to get out. If you say something the CEO doesn't like you're done. So people keep their mouths shut and go along or quit. HR has no idea how to deal with the demands of a company at this size and some things have been not been handled well and I'll leave it at that. The core product is fundamentally flawed and most of the people who knew how to fix it have long since left. They continue to try and hire their way out of this mess or open up another line of business to compensate. The only reason this place is still in business is because they are a not for profit and are sitting on a pile of stock that they continue to liquidate to balance the budget. If they had to operate like a normal company they would have been done for a long time ago. If you really need a job to pay the bills and eat, go ahead take it. But I would still keep interviewing and get out ASAP. There are so many other good places to work.

Company with no direction

Pros

Flexible work hours (not strict about 8-5), manageable workload, nice office

Cons

Company will bait and switch telling you that hybrid work is an option, but then request everyone be in the office of cubicle culture. No outlined career paths. Upper management is micromanagement level controlling. Company was constantly pivoting and changing products/services positioning. Very little transparency from upper management on things going on, everything is kept in secret. C-suite + board of directors is an exclusive club that takes lavish vacations with their spouses to meet every quarter - all on the company dime.

Toxic Work Culture

Pros

The physical headquarters of company overlook the ocean.

Cons

Lots of deceptions coming from the top down. Non-productive HR department that adds zero value to employees, other than the standard benefits package. There is no team leadership, no company outings or holiday functions. They allowed employees to work remotely during and after the pandemic and then made it "in-office hours for 5 days a week mandatory" because they decided to spiff up the cubicles. Overall work environment is smoke and mirrors, as people are eventually bullied regularly unless they become slaves to the business and it's a toxic work environment.
