Pros

You can work from home. Previously there were more pros but I things have really gone down hill over the last several months or so.

Cons

High turnover. They are always hiring because they are always losing good employees. Not enough leads to successfully make a paycheck and because they over hired finance advisors they have also limited the amount of leads you can take daily. The base pay is not good at all. It's probably one of the lowest base pays in the industry. There is a lack of training and communication. The program itself is not very thorough and once you're out of training then you are pretty much on your own but if you don't hit the numbers your manager wants you to then prepare to be talked down to and insulted. It is definitely not the positive team atmosphere they sold me in the interview. This brings me to my next issue, poor management at every level. Sales managers are rarely available and do not help. You can expect hours to go by before you can get an answer on anything. Many don't know the job themselves. You are threatened if you don't do what they want you to like give them fake "kuddos" so everyone sees it when it is clearly not deserved. Upper management needs work as well. Lots of promises for new leads and bigger and better things but nothing ever comes through. Upper management is full of people that like to hear themselves talk. Just a bunch of lip service.

Pros

6 months ago I would have said this was an amazing place to be. Since the new company took over, we have become the redheadded step children. Currently we are seeing an avg of 50-60 leads a DAY to fight over with 130 people. There are people here that literally don't know when/if they will be able to provide for their families

Cons

Upper management is not transparent. They have been telling us for over a month that the leads will come back and to just "ride the wave" we have heard nothing but SILENCE from the top and what we have heard from our upper management has been nothing but hostility and blame shifting. Instead of compensating our pay or trying to help us in any way, we are told to go find old closed leads from FA's to supplement our income OR take our PTO. This company was once vibrant and thriving and has now been taken over by a forrest fire. Funny though, seems the only ones not currently on fire are the ones who's pockets are full.

Pros

Remote work but not flexible. Potential to make money can be there but you better forget about work life balance if you want a paycheck.

Cons

Lots of long hours to barely make a paycheck because the base pay is so minimal. It’s hard to get leads and very cutthroat. You have to fight to rank well every quarter to keep your schedule or qualify for bonuses. Systems and processes are beyond broken. They claim to have core values but it’s nothing more than a few words on their website. Their “core values” are not followed by anyone especially management. Upper management needs to be completely replaced (just because they worked with you at a previous company doesn’t mean they will be an ethical and qualified employee). If they do not know their job, they shouldn’t be in a management position.
