Pros

The Ability to work Remotely.

Cons

This is a very unethical manipulative and poorly managed company with MASSIVE turnover fueling employees by fear rather than leadership. There is no job security here, it’s normal to see 10-15 agents quit or fired a month. Multiple emails a day comparing you against your peer’s performance pushing you for higher and higher conversion On customers who could do better without the program. They teach you clever ways to pitch, enroll and have clients go nuclear on their credit. (You really are nothing but a number here.) This is a place that will not tell you you’re fired they will just erase your logins, and HR will call you to fire you. Never ending call and desktop screen monitoring and “micro managing”in every definition of the phrase. Zero freedom in the day to do anything but work the exact shift you are assigned. Any variations outside of your scheduled shift you will be constantly (nagged) reminded how you’re outside of your schedule. You are expected to take every call and talk 6+ hours a day. ( don’t you dare hit pause in between calls they monitor that and will write you up) They advertise they are a lender that will offer 5.99% rates for unsecured personal loans however they do not lend any money at all! No customers get tri point loans - yet you are encouraged to say “ look up our lender license” and “our BBB rating” they advertise prime rates to subprime clientele. To lure people to call and in do a loan app for a loan that will actually offer a 35% rate by a third party affiliate like best egg( bait and switch) so You can pitch a debt relief program. Very very shady and unethical this is a true bait and switch. If it wasn’t they would be marketing to people who have higher credit scores and be funding those 5.99% rates as they so regularly advertise. Training is too long and majority of it is learning how to manipulate guilt and “square up” (poor salt in their wounds) callers to enroll in debt relief. However through out the extremely long winded training you’ll realize they are actually manipulating you to believe this job it’s better than it is. This job will drain you, find ways to not pay your full commission and help you reach new levels of anxiety, keep you in a constant grind, and leave you wishing for better. Do yourself a favor and Avoid this place.

Pros

Work from home option is nice.

Cons

Micromanaged to the to the point of harrassment. They control the call quantity and quality of each sales rep, they skew it so that you can't make your sales quotas by slimming down the call volume the following month which determines your commission for the next month. It's a carrot you cannot catch. High salesperson turnover. Mandatory to work weekends. The Irvine office gets the high debt calls and the LA office gets the low debt calls. The LA office salespeople don't make enough to live off of. I was told while working there to leave a positive 5 star review on Glassdoor. This makes me question any 5 star reviews of Tripoint Lending/Alleviate.

Pros

Remote position, that’s nice I get family time

Cons

Management will not reply to your questions. Training is shoved down your throat and no questions are allowed if you ask you are made to look and feel like a fool in front of your peers. The sale is bait and switch but it does seem to help the client
