Pros

Trial Partners is a dynamic and challenging place to work with fascinating clients and cases. The President and Vice President are true leaders in their field and an inspiration. It is a very collegial environment with a strong focus on teamwork to provide top notch, quality services to the clients. The compensation and benefits are extremely generous and work-life balance is highly respected. Hard work, loyalty and dedication to servicing the clients is highly rewarded and respected. Trial Partners is a great place to work!

Cons

Yes, you work hard and it can be stressful at times, but what job isn't? There can be ambiguity at times and this is due to the ever-changing nature of litigation and trials.

Pros

You can't get this type of experience anywhere else! You get to work on high profile, fascinating cases and are trusted with a lot of responsibility very early on. There is a great sense of camaraderie among the very impressive employees at this company. When the work piles up, everyone pitches in to get the job done and no one is left with too much to handle. Plus, there is never competition among the employees which I always appreciated. The company is small so your work gets a lot of attention, meaning a lot of opportunity for feedback and development. I learned an incredible amount and developed a lot of professional skills throughout my experience here.

Cons

The job is very demanding and the expectations are high. Most people cannot handle this type of pressure, but if you have the type of personality that thrives off of pressure and intensity - this job is for you!

Great Company

Pros

The company works on some of the biggest, most interesting cases in the country and has a well-deserved reputation as being among the very best in this profession. Being a part of this company makes you a better professional. There is a real sense of comradery and a binding thread of foodies. I recognize that over a relatively brief amount of time I have learned so much, and I’m continuing to grow all the time. And while management probably does care more about the quality of the work than stroking insecure egos, they genuinely believe in making everyone in the company look good by elevating the quality of the work and encouraging people to live up to their potential. They want all of us to be the very best we can be, and I can’t fault them for that. In fact, I appreciate it, and I know it’s made me better. They believe in their company mission, and all of the talented professionals we have here, and that is reflected in the company's success. Being part of such a successful company can only help one's resume and career path. Many people who have left this company have done so on good terms and gone on to top law schools or Ph.D. programs and stayed friends with many of us, including with the people in top management positions. That doesn’t happen everywhere, and it’s no accident. This is a great place to work for people who have high standards, want to be part of an excellent team at the top of its profession, and want to push themselves to be the best.

Cons

Work is challenging with a high level for attention to detail, and the hours can be long sometimes. You won’t be happy working here unless you really care about the quality of the work and are willing to push yourself to do your best. For some, this might seem like a negative since we live in world where few jobs demand this level of quality and professionalism. It's not for everybody. You have to truly enjoy the work and the people around you for it to be worth it, but then isn’t that true for any job? Work-life balance is a relative thing, but unlike many places no one works longer or harder than the president and vice-president, and they always have your back when push comes to shove.
