Pros

-Great commute -Friendly coworkers who are super helpful

Cons

-I was subjected to work with a woman with one of the nastiest attitudes I have ever had to deal with. I was there as her assistant and she would yell at me and make feel less than for any slight inconvenience. I would work as hard I could but it never seemed good enough for her. She could not handle stress well at all. I felt like I was walking on eggshells; I could not even ask her more than two questions at a time without her getting super nasty. Very rude to me and made my work environment very uncomfortable to the point that I had coworkers check on me after seeing how she would interact with me. -No overtime pay at all -Was subjected to no heat in office; had to bring my own heater -Employees were expected to use WeChat which was a little invasive imo

Good colleagues, bad management.

Pros

Colleagues are generally friendly and very willing to help you. The company is also very close knitted so it is possible to learn a good amount of new things.

Cons

Difficulty to communicate with manager: Understand that everyone has their own opinion but it's often dismissed by manager and has to go with the managers way. Simply cannot accept "NO" as an answer. Travel time wage: It is illegal to modify employee time card when they have to come to the office and then commute to another location to work. Simply telling employees that "manager knows their work time" and ignoring the commute time needs to be counted as wage. No discussion of pay: It is also illegal to prohibit employees to discuss their salary. Simply prohibiting them indicates the pay scale is either not fair or employees are paid differently among the same job title. Working remotely after COVID: Expect to use your own equipment (computers/laptops) to login to work at home. I'm sure bus companies won't ask new hired drivers to drive their own bus. Expected to use Wechat and installed on own phone because that's what the company uses to communicate: I'm sure there are better ways to communicate safely and securely. Not willing to pay overtime: Want's tasks to be done at ridiculous times and asking employees not to exceed 40 hours per week. Doesn't work like that. Expensive healthcare. No opportunity to move up or down. Best move it Out.

Pros

Commute time is 35 mins away. Restaurants are close by.

Cons

I really wanted this position to work out being that I was told that the person I was going to assist to was a nice person to work with. WRONG. Major bad attitude who creates an uncomfortable work environment. Always yelling, couldn't handle stress well. Nasty impatient individual. Managers can careless about any issues that occurs in the office.
