This could be a remarkable company........
Pros
The upside of working at tribe is they do not micromanage your day which is a plus being an experienced driver they do have nice equipment and this is where the pros pretty much end
Cons
Regardless of how long you stay out you're only allowed to take off a maximum of four days and getting home even if scheduled two weeks in advance can be challenging at best. there is a serious and disturbing lack of good communication. a high rate of turnover within the company makes it really hard to build a working relationship with the office staff. most of the driver managers customer service personnel and planners are inexperienced which in turn makes your job as a driver that much harder without support staff making good decisions. if you do have a problem which needs to be addressed while you're out on the road it can be almost impossible to get ahold of anyone during normal business hours sure you can send a message over there PeopleNet system but they do not respond to them in a timely fashion meaning never or sometimes hours. and even if you do get a hold of someone you will get passed around to every Department under their roof and still not receive a resolution. almost every problem I've had was not resolved buy my driver manager or by middle management it usually had to be escalated all the way to the owner before anything was done. and these were all normal problems that any transportation company would resolve within minutes. your miles are also going to be very inconsistent due to the fact they have house accounts they want to take care of regardless of what this may do to your paycheck each week. these are just a few of the many Conn's working for tribe Express I could go on with many more.
