Pros

Colleagues are very friendly, some good benefits like health care and life insurance.

Cons

Management obsessed with stats, not actual staff. Little communication across departments and almost no time for 1 to 1 development other than a box ticking appraisal each year.

Plenty of work to do so a lot of opportunities to learn if your prepared to take on a challenge. Good place to start a career in IT as it will give you a good foundation. Offer some nice perks for the type of role and company. Travel is paid for when going to Clients sites Opportunities to get into London and work in the city for experience. Good Company to use for a few years gain experience then move onto to a better job in the city.

Cons

Pay is poor. Below market average. Progression could be better. Lack of help with training when i was there. Management tends to have favorites. Poor leadership at engineer level from tier's managers. Work life balance can be poor at times. Overtime pay is poor in terms of what the company charge per hour.
