Pros

- The head office won't bother you unless you've done something really wrong. - Discount on items (although they're still making good money off you). - Free cold pizza sometimes. - Employee bathroom where I was working. I know some don't have them. - 30 minute lunch break (unpaid)

Cons

- Poor poor management - Phone repair training won't begin for four to five months since they lack trainers - Lies about pay and commission (you won't get good commission until they teach you how to fix phones) - Will suddenly make you work on holidays even if you had already requested the day off in advance. If you refuse they'll just fire you. - No increased pay for working on national holidays due to "company's religious belief". - Managers will ask you to lie to customers so that there could be more sales. - Company pushes certain types of chargers to shorten customer's battery life in the long term (so that they'll have to come in to get it "fixed"). - Nobody really gets along because everyone must compete for commission. - Co-workers with experience will sneakily remove you from commission. Management won't do anything about it. - Blames you for not being able to sell more than three items in a single receipt. - TV displays company CEO and executives enjoying the fruits of YOUR labor. (I'm not joking, they're riding speed boats and partying with tonnes of women while you're forced to stand there in a silly uniform and worry about food and rent). - Awful electronic / pop music that no employees are allowed to change or stop.

Thanks for the feedback on this job post. We are aware who wrote this review and there is much much more backstory to what happened to this associate in the end. While we wish there was more we could add to this, we will keep it to the associates file.

Thanks for letting us know about your experience working for us. Retail work is sometimes tough to balance, but we only ask managers to work 40 hours a week, some retail companies require 45-55 hours. Of course lunches are quick, I don't know of many retail locations that allow an hour long lunch, but that could be done if employees chose to work an extra hour to make up for it. Thanks for the feedback
